AUSTRALIA DAY!

early morning, laZY lay in bed, full cooked breakfast with the family, clean up, family arrives, eat, chat, play, laugh, eat, eat, eat, tired, eat, watch Borne, eat. I have felt really tired these last couple of days, think i am in need of an early night and some quality time. :) i listened to funny songs this morning like Singing in the rain, Good morning, mary poppins, frank sinatra... makes me feel alive. Lani and I had fun this morning :) i love having thier smiles and giggles around.
choices, everyday faced with choices, what to choose. i think i want to put a dream list for 2010 on my wall to remind me what i am aiming for, what i am moving toward, what i dream for this year, i figure if i write it here i will remember at some stage to do it. i forget things easily which i don;t like.

i have school work to do, walks to take, floors to wash, family to visit with, dogs to feed, teeth to clean and my dog to wash because by golly george he stinks so bad, he's sitting by me sleeping while i watch this movie and he stinks so bad.
choice, what choices will i make this week, where will they lead me, what will they discover, what will they awaken, who will they meet. choices, they wait for us wondering which path we will choose. audrey hepburn, she is beautiful. and elegant. and beautiful. i hear she's sweet. that is the word. i know what that means.

what i have learnt over my lifetime really is a jewel. why do i forget this so often.if you focus too closley on the rock you will miss the diamond. if you look too closely at the shell you will miss the pearl. if you gaze to widely into the sky you may miss the stars. if you waist time you may miss the moment.

"I hate girls that giggle all the time" -Audrey Hepburn (Sabrina), i am watching this movie and i just heard these girls giggling outside and thought this very thing that then i heard this line, it made me giggle ;)

tomorrow we are going to the Botanical Gardens. one of my favorite places. i've enjoyed the quiet this evening.

tomorrow on my break at college i am going to go sit in the bookstore and catch up on my magazine reading... i think i will have an Italian Soda while I'm at it, hope I remember to do this... my heart will be better off for it :):):)

thankful...

off to the movies tonight with my mother to see a movie about passion, well it's about Ballet! I've noticed that when i type, just like my mum i tilt my head to the side... funny the things we pick up isn't it. had an okay day but have a feeling it will have a lovely finish. I'm thankful for the small things in life that make a HUGE difference. Like the beautiful pink and blue sky this morning, or the girls shoes i noticed getting of the train, they were vans, REALLY COOL... high top ones, or the beautiful rose that God pointed out to me yesterday so i captured it :)

exams are finished... finally. wandered around the city today. got some cute little earrings. admired lots of beautful clothing but mostly just felt like it was way too BUSYY. :) i went to the library on my way home and borrowed some Cd's to add to my collection. I'm not sure yet whether i will like them or not.:) i got a judy garland one and paul potts ;) and several others that i can't remember the name. :)

i am off to warnambool on saturday morning, i feel bad cause my dad will be home all by himself from saturday until sunday and river will be all by himself too which i think is so sad. also when i go to america he will be all by himself. :(

today

today i found myself un busy and sitting quietly with my bible and a prayerful heart. thankful for the day and it's productiveness and the blessing of people in my life. i have 4 exams coming up in the next month. oh joy!

okay so i just woke up on this fine day and it is even more foggy than the day before. it is like a winter wonderland. i have been sleeping up stairs so when i wake up i have a good view out the window. i am loving it so much.... for all those countries that are enjoying fog right now aswell like tasmania and new zealand, lucky you....

side note : we are praying that we will go to Scotland for my cousins wedding and then on to America for the birth of my brothers second baby ;)

have a WONDERFUL day.. hope the fog sits on us for a long time.

okay quick story, when i was younger i went away with some of my friends up to a bed and breackfast that my friends grandparents owned, up in the Otway Mountains and up there is amazing amazing fog and so green and beautiful. it was such a fun time, we laughed, made eachother cry.. thats another story, broke a window, saw a seal.... LOVED IT!

i woke up this morning to a thick layer of fog covering the trees.

it was so beautiful and romantic and i could have just sat and watch it all day,

well i guess i kinda did. i have a cold. my first cold in years and so here i am

with my big hankerchief, bowl of soup, watching the sound of music and blogging.

makes for a perfect day i suppose.

today my friend and i went into the city and hired bikes for free. they are european bikes and they are red and they gave us these big black helemts to wear! so trendy! it was such a great thing to do, we were able to explore our city in a new way and what a better way to do it when the sky is blue, the sun is shining, the air is crisp and you're in good company.
